exhaust

My 79 F-250 needs exhaust BAD. Right now it has a 400 under the hood, but I want to drop in a 460 and I don't know how long it will before this happends. My question is will I be able to use the same exhaust if I were to go ahead and get new now?

No !

You will need the manifold's for a 460 truck or van especially the passenger side.

Have some good flowing duals installed now. Then when the 460 is in, take it back and they can change the engine end of the pipes to match the 460.
