I had a roomate named ******* once, an older guy, divorced, not gay. But he actually and seriously asked me to call him Gay for short. He wasn't kidding either. I said, "dude, i'm not going to call you gay, you actually want me to introduce you to my friends as my roomate Gay, or my Gay roomate??" He didn't think it was funny and didn't laugh. He was an ex-fighter helicopter pilote for the Navy. Uhhh, Navy? Gay? Hmm, perhaps there's some connection i'm missing here
Yeah I did already Jimmy, on another thread I think. Anytime is a great time to come down. In the winter it gets a little chilly down here at night, sometimes in the 40's (this is cold for US, yes). The summer gets really hot and humid and you'll turn to lobster man after 15 minutes in the sun. It's quite unbearable actually, even for those of us who live here and are semi used to it. The summer also yeilds extremely unpredictable tropical storms and rainy weather that can last days or even a week so you have to be careful no to plan on coming down during a week that we have on of those frequent tropical storms. Is best to come down sooner than later. July, August and September is massive hurricane season so I'd avoid these months. November is beautiful. Right now is great also, but again, a little chili at night but georgeous during the day.
Work around your schedule at work though and see if you can get Strick to come with since he's close to you. Also, maybe we can get Joe to come over too.
