ook im pretty sure ive been told this MANY times but another thing i wanna check ... on the 360 ... an oil pan from a 390 should bolt up the same right??? just makin sure.. i want this thing perfect when it all comes together

Yup, same block. Actually the 360 and 390 are very much the same block (they even have the same bore, just a different stroke).
Any FE oil pan will mount to your block, but there are a variety of pans that may not fit your vehicle. A stock front sump shold be OK on a 2wd. the 4wd needs a rear sump pan.

ok well its a mustang so ill just go with the front sump heheh just wanted to make sure before i go ordering a shiny aluminum pan only to find it wont match up hehehe
