I have a quart of eastwood's chassis black. I'm maybe a day or two away from finishing sandblasting my frame (waiting for the latest bag of sand to dry).
What prep should I do before painting on the chassis black?
Metal Ready?
Jasco?
Something else?
Primier?
Or does the chassis black just get painted on clean metal?
Treat it with Metal Ready, Jasco or Ospho first. These are liquid (like water) so will get into places that the thicker paints don't. Besides, a little extra protection never hurts.
