This is the truth. Mine has not used any oil between oil changes in the 60,000 plus miles I have had it. None, nada, zilch, does not move off the full mark. Oil change interval is 5000 miles. Truck has 203,445.9 miles on it at last fuel up a couple hours ago about 35 miles from home.

I am sure it burns some, just not noticable. See there is always a thin film of oil the oil ring leaves behind to lubricate the compression rings. This oil will get burned off eventually. IF oil doesnt get by the oil rings then the cylinders wont last very long.

I burned a couple quarts every 4000 miles in the first 25000 miles, since then I've noticed a consumption rate of 1 qt. every 4000.

Like many, mine doesn't burn enough for me to add any oil between oil changes.
