360 oil pump rod
The 360 oil pump rod in my 66 f-100 not original was in the pan twisted up found a 360 in the boan yard with a twin to it whats up with this was this a weak spot? if so is there a better rod to use than the one i got out of anothet 390 moter? yess i went through the moter and its not hurt but befor i put it back together id like some help.

If the budgets that tight and you don't plan on revving the motor too fast, the stock shaft will probably be OK. BUt for $20, you might consider an upgrade part.
Even my upgrade part twisted recently (Milodon), I replaced it with an ARP.
