i think im going to go with the EDELBROCK PERFORMER 750 CFM CARBURETOR #1407 i read somewhere that its not emishions leagal ... will i have a problem with this on my 67 ford in texas ???? and is it enough carb for my motor ?
my motor is a 390 bored out to a 402 and its got the edelbrock preformer intake(next weekend) i have no clue about the laws ... i would ask around town but im currnetly at ftbragg NC in the army ... im off and at home come the 26th
Texas law requires the emissions systems to meet the specifications of the manufacture date. As a 66 model, it might be nothing more than a pcv and proper air cleaner. The biggest problem usually is someone wondering what all those plugged vacuum lines were for. If you are in the evil urban counties you also get sniffed,I think.
