Hey Guys
First time on this board. I am thinking of buying a used F350 with
the 7.3. I was wondering if you knew of a source/website that would give me service record details if I provided the VIN.
The truck is a '99 4x4 Crew-Cab DRW 6sp. with 80K.

I did a Carfax report on my truck before I bought it, even turned it into my bank with the loan application. I threw a KBB print out in there too, to show what it was worth. I'm sure all this info helped them approve me, I figured it couldn't hurt anyway.
There's some info where it says Trouble Spots on here.
Best bet tho is to go to a dealer with the Vin and truck info and get a report of the trucks history.

If you are buying thru a dealer, they should give you a car fax as part of the sale to make you "feel better". At least that's what I said when I bought my last one. They were happy to pass one on to me, no cost. I keep it locked up with my ownership ppw.
