97' manual locking hubs??

I've been wondering the same thing. I checked around and the only place I have seen them is at Autozone and they are made (or at least listed as) Mile Marker but they say that if they are automatic (as in my case), I would need the conversion kit. The hubs are between $59 and $86 and the conversion kit is $37. I am not so sure about Mile Marker and not sure if I would require different wheels (because of the size of the hub center). That's what has kept me from doing this conversion. I would at least like to put in a manual lock front axle and get rid of the vacuum.

i would like to do the same with mine, havent been able to find many good sources yet... will keep looking on the net.......

Your autolock hubs should not be spinning the front axleshafts as long as the transfer case is in 2wd. Check Warn's website for a manual hub conversion for autohub trucks. www.warn.com Superlift, and as state, MileMarker also make manual hubs. You can get the hubs at www.offroadwarehouse.com and www.4wheelparts.com
