I don't know if I think it's ugly or cool. I like Mustang's, and I like Ranchero's, but I don't know about that.

I saw one of these at a car show years ago. It looked good in person...I don't believe it had an operating tailgate, though.

I was reading an auto industry rag here at work, and there is a small company that actually has begun converting new stangs with a box. They will convert any mustang up until the new platform comes out, for 20K IIRC, even a drop top Cobra. They're trying to upstage the chevy ssr, to loosley quote from the article. I cant remember who it actually was, maybe i still have the paper in my car........ They went so far as to say that dealers have contacted them to have stangs built to sell on the showroom floor. I thing they have been takin the car/truck around to shows like SEMA or autorama type shows, and have gotten some good respose. Ill look if I still have that paper.
