new V10 finally!
After waiting about 8 months, my dealer was finally able to order my V10 from Ford. He says it will be a 2000 engine. I hope it's a NEW 2000 with the added HP and TQ over my 99. In my gut though, I get the feeling it's gonna be a FQR engine remanufactured to 1999 specs in 2000. The install should be sometime after the 4th holliday.

V10man,
I had my 5.4L replaced just over a month ago due to the piston slap problem. It was an FQR rebuilt to 2000 specs. I have the extra horsepower and torque that is in the 2000 5.4L.
