Bed Rug?

Anyone tried this type of bedliner? I'm told that it's comfortable and holds up. If so, where can I get the best deal? I'm having a hard time finding an online outfit (other than the manufacturer) that sells them.

Thanks,

Bed Rug?

I own one for my SD, and I love it! I bought it from Surplas Equipment through the BedRug WEB site. A few other folks found it a few buckes cheaper else where, but I don't rember where.

A few pictures of mine can be found at: http://ic.net/~wawii/My%20Y2K%20F-250/

Bed Rug?

I purchased a Bed Rug for my SD and I really like it. I do have a Snugtop so it does not see any weather. I chose the bed rug over a liner (spray or plastic) for the simple reason that it is actually quite comfortable to sleep on for my fishing adventures. It also is nice to kneel on when loading up the bed with camping supplies/boxes. In addition, my 105 lbs. golden loves it better than his kennel :-) I have not hauled dirt/rocks, nor do I really plan on it in the future, but it cleans up really easy. I just vacum it with a shop vac, then hose it out, and use the wet vac to draw up any moisture. The Bed Rug floor also unzips from the sides and stretches over the tail gate eliminating dust from entering into the bed (handy for dirt roads). I figured that I need to haul dirt/rock, I would just buy a rubber bed mad to lay down ontop of the Bed rug.

Bed Rug?

Update:

The latest J.C. Whitney has Bedrugs (by name) for right at $300 and free shipping. I ordered one but twice have been called by Whitney (on behalf of the manufacturer) with some uncomfortable questions. Is your 2000 F-250 a Superduty? Are the wheel wells inside or outside the bed. DUH? The other questions asked were answered in my order; extended cab?; short bed?; etc. I was very clear with Whitney and even e-mailed Bedrug to see if I could be of some help. If I get the wrong one I'm going to be pissed about the hassle of having to return it.

Regards,

Bob
