Accepted offer details
First, I got four dealers involved and let them know that I had four dealers involved. These guys are ready to make deals and talk and work to get your business. At least here in Virginia this is true. I faxed all the dealers the truck I built on the Ford site and asked them to quote me a price for my specific configuration. They were all glad to do so. Most want you to come into the dealership and chat but don't go until you narrow it down to a couple of offers that are acceptable in your mind (or close). After I got all the dealers engaged and kept them aware of the fact that I was ordering in less than three weeks and that I also NOW drive a Super Duty they became more willing to work the price.
Long story short, let them know your offers and let them try to 'one-up' or down in this case, the other dealers price. Next thing I know, I've had three free lunches, tours of the shops, more BS than you can shake a stick at and three offers to build the truck for invoice or below. My best offer was invoice minus $200 plus I keep the rebate and get $17K in trade for my 65K mile truck. Ordered today and I can't stop smiling.
I realize we can all get them for much more below invoice by driving to Victor, NY but that is just too much time and hassle for me......so if you don't want to drive or can't drive to Victor, NY get the dealers to come to you. It really seems to be a buyers market in my area.
Good luck to all shopping.
Hope the info was worth the read.

Just wanted to pass on my experience.
