Can anybody help this newby out by telling me where I can find the plug to my engine block heater. The weather is supposed to get into the low 20s tonight and I would like to hook it for in the am. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try looking inside the bumper around where tow hooks would be, inside the hood under the battery box, or look inside the grille. Usually depending on the year of the truck as to location. Hope this helps. You could find the heater itself around the oil filter and then follow the wire (3 wire type electrical)
Yep, I am in Virginia too! Hard to believe we can go from sunny and 80's last week to mid 20's w/chance of snow tonight. wierd weather for sure. Will be plugging my truck in tonight!
You are not kidding with that...I left Texas last week and it was a balmy 79 degrees. I get here on Wednesaday and it is snowing and now they are calling for it to get down to 28 toninght and I'm here in Northern Va. I can't wait for warmer weather. I'm headed to plug mine in!
It was 12 degrees here this morning and I didnt have mine plugged in. I cycled the glow plugs once and she fired right up. I let her warm up while I scraped the windows.
