Problem, Tranny Temp Sender
I did it this time. I would be bragging because I installed gauges today. Preturbo EGT, Boost & Tranny temp. Well the Pyro and Boost are both working. They all three look really good on my A-pillar. Now for the delimna
I believe I overtightened the tranny temp sender. I took it out and the brass end that was on it was not. There was a spring with plastic coating. What do I do. Do I need to drop my tranny pan and find that piece that was on the end? Is it below the filter and nothing to worry about immediately. If so can I install another? Need help on this one.

The broken end of the sensor can't end up in the pan. There is too much in the way for it to get there.
It's still in the passage that the sender was in. Some people have had good luck blowing it out. This makes a mess, so be warned! Start the truck with nothing in the port where the sender was. DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE FOR MORE THAN 2 or 3 SECONDS! Fluid will be *BLOWING* out of there. It might be enough to blow out the pieces.
If that doesn't work you'll need a pick, or something small to reach in the port and get the parts out.
