285/75/16 BFG question
2000 F-250 Super Duty
V-10
4X4 Off-road pkg
Regular cab
long wheelbase
I have just put 285/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrains on my truck. It is completely stock otherwise. It looks like a front tire might touch the bottom corner of the front bumper in an off-road situation if the wheel is up on an obstacle while turning left or right. Does anyone have this size tire and know if I will have tire clearance in this situation?
NOTE: This scenario puts the wheel high up into the wheel well.

It seems just about everyone is going to the 285's. I can's say about your truck but I haven't read anyone complaining about a lack of clearence.
I saw a 4x2 crew cab with the 285's. It looked ok.
A cheep mod is to add a leveling kit to the front. Basicly just shackles that raises the front a couple inches. About $370 I think.

285/75/16 BFG question
Here is mine with some off brand 32X11.5 on 10" rims (i think 10"). They rub a little when making a sharp turn and hitting a bump.
