3.0 V6 swap?

Ive been looking around for a trail rig.. And i found a 87 Bronco II that has a blown 2.9 V6.. i got a 3.0 V6 out of a mercury sable.. Will it mount up to the tranny? Also qill the intakes interchange?

Those engine are completely different. You might be able to do it by swapping in the engine, rwd 3.0 tranny and electronics.

Alrighty, Thanks.. I have this 3.0 sitting around and nothing to do with it.. Probly just sell it since i can really have any use for it.

No other thought than get money from 3.0L and put it towards 4.0L swap.

Well i dont have a Bronco II to put one in. I was gonna see if that would fit in it without any tranny mods. I thinjk im gonna find a Eairly Bronco and just have it as all around truck.
