My F 250 SuperDuty Crew Cab 'squats down' when I hook up a horse trailer. I was told by a Chevy salesman that a guy could raise the 250 SD 6" by adjusting something, but he didn't know what, does anyone out there know?

you ought to check your GVWR and your GAWR (for the rear axle) and compare it to the actual vehicle weight loaded and with the trailer. this has nothing necessarily to do with the fact that the vehicle squats, but in the Northeast (Maine and Vermont, particularly) the horse trailers are being sent into the scales and weighed to see if they are below the legal weight. an f250, particularly with a gooseneck trailer loaded, may not be.....
Bard, give us a clue, what type of horse trailer, loaded trailer weight, approximate tongue weight, or just run the rig over a truck scales and get the weight on each axle, including the trailer axles. If you are overloaded or improperly loaded, that should be addressed, not simply jack up the rear end of the truck and go down the road.
