Nice Truck! Put a hard bed cover on it and the external tie down hooks will come in handy if you want to haul something on top of the bed cover or just tie down a pille of stuff in the bed!

Thanks!
That pic was taken in mid Fall 2009 with Truxedo LowProQT cover that was on it at purchase.
I later decided on the "Undercover" hard cover with pebble finish. I have since done exactly as you describe a couple of times. Even climbed up on it to wax the roof, etc.
This truck was on our lot for a month and I walked by it several times. I was looking at our website one night and saw this pic. Loved it, then bought it.

Cool Beans! I really like my undercover, best cover for the money! IMHO. I have climbed up on mine to clean the roof as well..

U.S.'s #1 Ford Salesperson. Columbus, GA - Need a Raptor?
NICE!
They'll sneak up on you like that some times, hard to beat a clean white vehicle.
Speaking of Raptors, a neighbor of mine bought a blue one with the painted dirt decal ..... and he never washes it! Disgusting.
When I found my '07 FX4, I also saw my first Raptor, a "Golden Red" one, no dirt decal, ..... it was eye catching! My neighbor's .... it's almost past by before you realize what it is.
Not bad looking for this 04-08 generation on flareside. Yet, I personally like the styleside. Wondering why there's not many flaresides on market? Not enough demand, I guess.

Nothing wrong with stylesides, and they do maximise the available cargo space on the chassis which increases their numbers with businesses owning them and then there is more aftermarket support for them.
It's also maybe partly due to those in the majority who follow the pack, who try to stay "in style" .... and those few who live out on the cutting edge.
I've only owned 4 pickups in my life,
Two Chevies, Two Fords
Two Stylesides, Two Step (Flare) Sides
Two long beds, Two Short Beds
Two 4X4s, Two 2X4s
