Exhaust manifold
Just replaced my manifold gaskets and after bolting everything back up I noticed the right side manfold was cracked. This seems like a great excuse to switch to headers. However when shopping online for them I keep finding footnotes saying "not for Camper Special". Why is this? What is the problem with fitting headers to a Camper Special?
If fitment is the problem can the be easily modified, such as dimpling them when clearance is too close?

Hmm. Im not sure why they would say that. Is there anything special about youre engine bay or front frame area that came with the camper special? Youre best bet would be to ask the guys in the 1967-72 forum what, if anything, is different about that particular truck. Wish I could be of more help.
