truck pulling fan
Im a huge truck pulling fan and always try to attend one when there is one near me. This one pull I attended last year really got me excited about this year. I enjoy watching older trucks pull. But I really get a kick when they pull the newer trucks. 1999 on up. I get to see how the powerstroke does against the duramaxes and dodge cummins. How about you out there. Have you attended any pulls out there that pulled lots of these newer trucks. If so how did ford do against the rest. Or have you pulled yourself how did you enjoy it does it get in your blood like other sports. Its amazing what people do to get more power out of these diesels. Propane injection, nitrous. You name it they have done it. Ill add my 2 cents worth ocassionally when the replys get going.Thanks.

I went to one over the summer. A friend won in a '03 7.3L F-350 CC 4x4 Lariat SRW lifted 14" with his small tires (39.5's) on for traction, he had a full pull. His father got second place in his '03 F-350 Dually 7.3L 4x4 CC Lariat LE with a leveling kit and 33's at 297.6'. Third place was a '77 F-150 with a 400 and 4 spd with 210'. Fourth was a '03 Dodge Cummins HO 3500 with 202'. Last place was a '03 Chevy 3500 Duramax, it snapped both drive shafts at the 100' marker.
