56 big back window
hi guys, has anyone bought a steel big back window conversion and fitted it?, mid fifty have them but by the time i import it, the price goes up 400% so i want to be sure. While we are at it what are CW Moss like both to deal with and price comparison, they are real close to a shipping source and won't charge to deliver to the docs, freight seems to be the big killer when u start buying panels and/or glass, any thoughts?..cya..gary

I have not utilized the big window kit, but I can tell you that CW Moss is a good outfit. They have been there in OC forever. They're price will be the same or lower than most other suppliers. Just be sure that you get insurance for that long-distance shipment. Have you checked with Dennis Carpenter?Good luck, John

You might try Mike Chesser at www.chesserbuilt.com as I think they are the original designer/manufacturer of the big window kit. They have been very helpful in providing information, but I haven't let go of any money yet. You might be able to eliminate some of the middle man money going direct to the manufacturer.
