wiring harness
i have a 2001 ford f250 super duty. I bought used from the dealer and they put the wrong trailer harness with seven pin connector on. I think for a o3,o4 model. Anyway the connector plugs into the factory harness just the wires don't match up.
so iwas wonder if anybody had a part number for this harness.
The dealer can't find the part # for some reason.

so, none of the wires work on the trailer plug? Or just certain ones work (brake, turns, and tail lights)
When you say the wires dont match up, do you mean the plug doesnt go together or the colors dont match up?

None of the wires work because the colors don't match up. Power is go thru to the seven way but it don't do no good if it isn't grounded right. i would switch the wires on the existing harness but the gauge of the wires are bigger than that of the connector were they need to go.
