chopped top

I'm thinking about chopping the top on my 1970 sportscustom has anyone any suggestions? I want to chop it 4"

You might try the paint and body forum. This question has come up before in this forum but I'm not sure any of these guys have really gotten into it.

Try doing a search also- you might be able to find more info.

There was a 67-72 cab on e-bay last week with a chopped top. Doing these mods isn't my cup of tea, but I noticed it when I was browsing.

Classic Trucks magazine also has a 2 part article on 64 chopped top. It is in the Dec.03,and Jan.o4 issue. Sometimes can go to the 'classic trucks magazine' web site and view the article.
