lowering rear end

I had the rear springs out awhile ago on my F250 2004 King Ranch to install "Lord Velvet Ride Shackles" and in doing this took out the block that rides on top of the axle. I just ordered 20" aftermarket wheels for my ride today and want to lower the backend of the truck to make it closer to level (it's about 2" higher than the front). I am told I can take out this block. Can I do that without messing anything up..and is there anything out there available that I can get that would replace it that is about 1/2" high. I want the back end to set about 1/2" higher than the front.

Quit sniffing the ozOne.

Just back out of this thread to the main page. 2 forums up from this one you'll find the:

"Super Duty And Heavy Duty" forum.
