well i do no about the unpluggin the certian censor.. i found that sensor but wut about the timing is suppose to start at? initail i think its called??
k i think i got it figured out guys.. first of all haynes manual says the timing is not adjustable on these motors.. and the timing tab is basicly a small almost needle point that the timing is suppose to be at.. so as the book says disconnect that plug thing.. then set the timing.. so i set it right on the tab.. so gona see how she runs tonight.. i was a little off.. but when u put the tab back in the timing goes about 10* BTDC so i think this is right.. thanx for the help guys

I may not be understanding you right. Are you saying the timing is at 10 BTDC with the plug in?
You want the timing to be 10 degrees BTDC with the spout connector out, not plugged in.
You want the 10 degree mark on the crank dampner lining up with the timing pointer.
hmm i didn't no that.. but ya with the plug out the timing is 10* BTDC, are u sure the plug has to be in?? im pretty sure the haynes book said to take the plug out when u do the timing.. i better read it again..

If I'm not getting you right, sorry."

You both are saying the same thing. Unplug the appropriate connector, set the timing at 10°, lock it down, plug the connector back together, go drink a beer...and get me one while your at the fridge.

Yes you have it right then.
I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you said you set it at 10 degrees BTDC with the plug "in".
