Dove B8ve Heads

how much are a set of DOVE B8VE Heads worth? I met a guy today that has a set that I'm thinking of buying. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

No such thing as a B8VE head.

The D0VE head with valve train say $125.00

B8VE would be 1958 heads. I'm sure he meant C8VE.

What is the seller actually asking for them?

Uh...D0VE heads are 1970 castings, hence the D0, C8VE are 1968 castings. By definition a D0VE head can't be a C8VE (or B8VE) since they're different casting numbers. FWIW D0VE and C8VE heads are basically identical.

That's why I always say "D0VE spec" heads. There is a lot of confusion, also since there is a company named Dove making aftermarket heads for Fords now.

D0VE spec heads are C8VE-D1VE. That includes C9 and D0 castings, hence the misleading "D0VE heads" misnomer.
