Question How many deleted items?

I empty my deleted items folder in Microsoft Outlook every month or so. My oldest email in that folder is from February 14/04. I just emptied it today and there were 1342 emails in it! So in like 5 weeks that's how many emails I got.

Now, I never get those stupid spamming messages. Kind of weird but I just don't. Most of my emails are from FTE telling me that someone responded to a thread I am subscribed to. I would say 95% of them were from FTE. Maybe more.

So how many deleted items do you have? And what percentage are from FTE?

There is a toggle where you can choose not to recieve emails when someone responds to your thread. I didn't have it picked originally, but after a few threads, I opted out of the email thing.

I also have 2 email addresses. One if for junk. I sign up for stuff using that one. The other is for work. I give friends and family members that one as well.

I like to receive the emails so I know when people respond. I don't mind them.

I have 2 emails as well. One for junk and one for personal.

I had something really weird happen today with my Outlook Express. I got one of those "undeliverable message" notifications, telling me that the last e-mail I sent didn't go through. Here's the weird part: I haven't sent ANY e-mails from my O/E account today. Have I got a virus or something?

That is a virus contained e-mail.

Don't open any of these,

Also, Others have shown up as :

I have Outlook set to dispose of deleted emails everytime I exit. You might wish to consider doing the same; it keeps the clutter way down.

8702 items since 9/10/01. Items older than that are archived in another file.

827 from FTE = 10.5%

I typically don't actually delete emails, except spam which Outlook 2003 filters out for me.
