Have you tried the restore feature from a date when the E mails were still there ?...

Years ago, a former computer of mine deleted a bunch of emails in my Outlook during a compression. A friend told me about a little program that could recover these though.
Well, it recovered several lost ones and it never happened again. I made sure the more important emails were copied/saved into folders on my hd to back up on disks after that. But while I had that PC, every time it began an "Outlook" compression session to increase "space".....it was a very jittery wait.
