i need some opinions

i have an 82 f-100 with a 302 i just found out i need new rod and main berings. i put new leaf spring on it, new front sprins tei rods, stearing gear box, 4 new tiers, new radius arm Bushings, new exhaust, new brakes in all 4 corners and a new master cuynlinder on it all in the last 1.5 years i have owned it the front end work was due to an accident(rides straight still) the truck has 67000 miles on it and no rust and good paint. that the back ground, now i blue a head gasket and got water in the oil fixed that. i was going to buy a new truck at the end of the sommer should i just get a new motor or should i fix this one and sell the truck. if i put a new motor in it i will buy a complet one.

Welcome to the joy of owning an old truck!! To answer your question ask yourself how much do I like the truck you have? Sure seems you like it a lot to fix so many things in 1.5 years. I personnally wouldn't give up mine because I know it so well and know whats new and old and what to expect out of it, buy something else who knows what trouble lies ahead. If you decide to get a new motor give www.enginefactory.com a look, they can send you one that you can just plop in and go(turn key). Just remember if it has breasts or wheels it will give you trouble.
