anybody know if I install a roll pan and reinstall my class three hitch. will the roll pan cover the hitch??? or is the hitch going to be lower than the roll pan???
I am trying to determine without being able to see my truck... Its in the shop having a new motor installed, If I can cut a hole in the roll pan and have the "hidden hitch" access through the hole???
Is the hitch below the current bumper? If it is, then I would say it's going to be below the roll pan. The hidden hitch would be nice - you may need to buy the hitch from the same company as the roll pan so they match - or you could try to alter your current hitch.
There's a tech article about installing a roll pan on a 73-79 pickup...
the roll pan I installed on 76 F-250 highboy (fiberglass) had about an inch of clearance to the reciever hitch......but I had to lower the reciever a half inch to allow clearance when the bed is up (installed a dump kit to the stock bed)
