I have a 04 F250SD Crew cab 4x4 with the PSD with a 2004 motor and a truck build date of 1/21/04. I have 2500 miles on it since purchased on 3/5 and have had no problems as of yet, truck runs great and I'm getting about 17.5mpg now. was gettng 14.5 mpg for the first 2000 miles.. I hope this is one of the trucks that has none of the problems I've been reading about. One Ford Mechanic I spoke with said most of the problems were within the first 6 months of the 6.0 coming out and all the 04's have been fine. the only problem he has seen with the 04's was with the Water in Fuel sensor going bad but is a easy fix under warrenty..

One Ford Mechanic I spoke with said most of the problems were within the first 6 months of the 6.0 coming out and all the 04's have been fine. the only problem he has seen with the 04's was with the Water in Fuel sensor going bad but is a easy fix under warrenty..

I bought this truck not knowing any of the issues that folks have been posting. this is the truck I was buying no matter what. the info from the mechanic I got was from another dealer and about about a month after I purchased this truck, , there are so many horror stories on here about these but I just wanted to share my succuss and whos to know if all these problems are real,,, I'm very happy with my 04 F250sd
