Charge Light Q?????????

Just something thats been bugging me on my 67. Everything is charging fine, it has a light, no factory guage. The light come on when you turn the swith to on, and goes off when you start it up so it all good there. My question is when you guys turn your ignition switch to the accesory position does your charge light come on because mine does. Its no big deal but I just wanted to know if its normal or not. Like I said, I have no charging problem at all, im at 14.5 on the Autometer volt guage, I just dont like that charge light on in the acc position. Thanks.

It's to remind you to shut it off and remove the keys.

Ummmm, OK. Thanks for the quick witted response.

So your truck does the same?

Im talking about the acc. position you know, counter-clockwise on the key, truck not running just in case you mis-understood the question. Thank you.
