AC questions

I finally got around to mounting the AC compressor brackets to the front of my project motor. I had to get my neighboor cut some of the material out of the bracket where it hit the Edelbrock water pump.

So, I got through that , got everything mounted. The compressor had been layin on the inside fender. It looked like it had leaked some oil. So, I wanted to check the oil.

I goofed, and opened up the coolent. Woosh! I ran out of my shop, not knowing if this stuff is dangerous or not? Is it? Do I need to do some quick clean up or recovery of anything under the hood?

(my version of an old adage)
1 step forward, and THWACK! , a shovel upside my head :-(

hey greg i wouldnt worry about it much, if it got all over the motor, etc.. i would take some water and clean it a bit, but it doesnt really hurt anything.

Thanks, I sprayed it with some degreaser and washe doff with water.

I made some good progess this weekend. Got the complete fuel system replumbed with oversize stainless braided and AN fittings. A real pain but it looks good and I'm sure I have enough flow now!

I got that done in time to get it to 4WheelParts to install the Detroit locker. That went well. It actually went in to the shop and came out ontime and with cost as quoted. No calls to say I needed axles or gears or gidget X....

then, I shoot myself in the foot on the last night of my weekend with this AC fiasco!
