Anyone know the most economical $$$$$ way to lift a 2WD 2003 F-250 6.0L PSD??? I want to lift it 2"-3". I have seen some lift kits online but they are anywere from 750-1200$$$. Way tomuch for my pocket book.
desert duty nailed it.
2" Urethane spacers made by Daystar that go between the coil and I-beam coil perch. About $102 from 4WheelParts. You should still be able to get enough camber adjustment with 2". Otherwise it's 4" or 6" kits from Pro-Comp or Fabtech which move your radius arm and I-beam pivot brackets down. These kits start at about $750.
I added the 2" spacers to my 6" Pro-Comp kit. Had them over a year with no problems. Real easy install too. Check my gallery. I'll post a pic of the spacer by this evening.
when you added the 2" spacer to your 6" kit, what was the overall lift that you saw. Was it 8" or was it 7", just curious. I have a 2wd 2003 f250 and i want to get mine lifted 8" at least and am looking for any idea of how to get it that much???.
Dirty Diesel: I didn't measure before and after when adding the spacers but it did make a definite difference. The bottom edge of the wheelwell is 43 1/2" from the ground. Here's a pic: #1 is stock w/ stock tires. #2 is 6"/3" lift with 315's. #3 is 8"/3" with 315's.
TrunkSlammer: I've had the same thoughts regarding 37's. The 35's have never touched a fender even in rough terrain. They do rub the sway bar and radius arm at full lock though.

I have looked all over the internet and can only find dealers listing the Daystar 1.5 to 2.5 coil spring lifts for F150's. Am I missing something or did you cheat and use the spacers design for the 150's
BlueRidge: Go to 4wheelparts.com and search Daystar. I found them there. $96.89 for the set. Daystar part number KF09101. This was originally for Ranger/Bronco II and the Daystar website is not updated to include the SuperDuty. Lower end of the coil is the same size for Rangers and SD's. Go figure???
TrunkSlammer: I've seen a few SD's with fiberglass fenders, but they have to remove the inner wheelwell to do this. Baja Concepts in Fallbrook, Ca was closing them out last year for $350 a pair. Don't know what they go for now. I sure a few companies in SoCal make them. Let me know what you find and if you do go through with it be sure to post some pics.

Thanks V10,
Daystar is not the only website that hasn't updated their site. Hey I believe I used to live close to your area judging by your pictures. Let's see somewhere west of Escondido, east of the Pacific, south of Fallbrook, and north of Mira Mesa.
Wonder if I'm close?
V10Double,
I just ordered the Daystar spacers they look pretty easy to put on. Did you put them on yourself? If so how long did it take you. Any guidence or advice would be appreciated.
By the way I used to live in Redlands and North San Diego County so I been through your area many times and know it well. I live in Central Valley area now lots to do up here too but I miss the easy access to the deserts.
To answer your question, I installed the lift kit and spacers and had an alignment at about 45,000 miles. I've now got 93,000 miles without any problems or realignment. I actually have a very slight positive camber but the tires wear very evenly across the tread.
I contated Daystar about their 2'' leveling kit for the 06 superduty 2wd unfortnutly they said there were alighnment problems with the kit. At which at theis time the kit will not work on the new 2wd Superdutys. If anybody knows of a leveling kit for the new superdutys on the 2wds Please inform me.
