Im 17 and I hate those kinds of stores. I hate the mall in general. Ill shop at sears and wal mart for clothes. The reason I hate the mall is because there is nothing in them and I get lost. They need to make a mall full of truck parts stores.
I noticed the disappearing thread and thought it was just my computer. Guess not. What about the guys that wear wife beaters, have some girl welded to their arm and they wear their pants somewhere around their ankles. I can't stand those guys, I just wanna help them get a better look or whatever. Punk kids.
My wife gets mad at me everytime we go to the mall and I laugh outloud at the way people wear their hats and pants. She gets really mad at me if I say something like "Look at that guys hat, does he know it's on sideways?" I'm sure one of these days my mouth will get me in trouble, but I have no problem with someone kickin' my butt if it needs to be kicked.
the best and most effective way you can show these companies ( other than complaining to their customer service web site or 800 number) is to do exactly what i do because i do not want to be "helped" by employees that seem to be total morons like the one youve described. I simply dont shop there! radical idea?? hardly!!! I figure if enough of us that feel this way dont shop in stores that dont met our needs in the way of customer service one of three things will happen.. #1 these stores will go out of business cause therye out of touch #2 these stores will cater to people who like to be abused and enjoy this kind of customer service or #3 we will keep shopping in these stores and they will continue to make profits cause noone does anything about it cause most people are like sheep they follow each other right into the slaughter house...
Personally i just refuse to spend my hard earned money at these over priced "cool stores" maybe im just a grumpy old man but hey im happy wearing blue jeans i bought at Wal Mart or Sears i dont feel it necessary to spend $99 for work clothes ( and i am ONLY 39 years old, guess that makes me an old fart to some of you younguns!!)
I am 17, and I too walk thru the mall laughin my a$$ off at there punk kids... hell i do it at school too! lol... I dont shop at any of them expensive stores either, My jeans come from wherever are cheap, same with tshirts. Sideways hat? I want to smack em too. They have to relize one day that they look like fools.... Backwards is ok tho, anywhere you would wear a hat.
I like shopping at Old Navy. The prices are low and they have cargo pants!! (I love lots of pockets). We do alot of Christmas shopping there every year. I DO dislike much of the music piped in the store, though, I guess I have just grown accustomed to it, or learned to tune it out.
I was looking for a pair of shoes for my wife at one of those "Athletic Shoe Stores" that seem to cater to the hip-hop crowd, and we looked around- we were the only customers in the store (typical, tiny, mall-sized store), so I know she saw us- for about ten minutes without a word from the clerk. When someone of her own "persuasion" walked into the store, she couldn't help them enough. We left in disgust and won't go back.
I do enjoy making fun of the severely sideways hats in the mall, though, and the severely baggy pants. Especially the ones that are so loose that they have to keep their hands right by their sides to continuall hold them up. If they only knew what the baggy look really meant and where it came from.
