how does one go about re-aiming the headlamps if the truck was to say, lifted about 6 inches?? not that mines is lifted but i just did an hid install on my headlamps and the beam is about 5 inches higher than normal. Am i missing the adjustment screws or is there not any, cause i didn't see any?? thanx leroy
well hate to say it like this but i rigged it up! first off i lost the high beam option but i dont care. i pulled the bulbs and the ballast (ignitor) off of an audi that i happened to come across in my line of work. tapped into the ground and low beam wires and thats it. seem to be working other than the fact that they are aimed a little to high. ive gotta ?? for anyone who has dealt with hids or know anything about them, does the bulb have to be with the stick pointing in the up direction, i know im not describing this the best way possible but if you have seen a bulb you know what i am talking about. Maybe if i turn it sideways or down it will change the height of the pattern. just a thought
Has anyone found a reasonable cost (Not HID), high output (blue/white) headlight lamp that will replace the stock 9008 lamp in the 2004 F150 S-Crew? The only thing I've found on the web is from Australia and can not be exported to the USA.

And that bulb is the wrong one. It is an H7, not an H13.
There used to be a 9008 bulb for a Saturn, if I remember correctly. I did a search for the 9008 bulb and kept coming up for onr for a Saturn.
Originally posted by kingfish51 It does say in the owners manual on how to adjust the headlights. They are only height adjustable. Not side to side..

I have a hid system in my truck it's from DDM TUNING. it's under $60 for the whole wire harness, ballasts, bulbs. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.
The website ddmtuning.com
It's pretty simple to install. Just a plug and go type system.
