How is your week going?

monday. bench pressed 295--4 times, then 315--2 times. i had to get this one kid to put his money where his mouth was, and in the same time i exceeded my goal once again.

tuesday... weird day. worked today. felt SOOOO good to get back to working tree removal. really doing some work.
opened my tool box in the back of my truck, and opened the small carry tool box inside of that. to my suprise... all my tools are rusty after just one winter... bummer...
so then i go to the gym tonight. i knew my membership expired the first week of AUGUST... but no one said anything. tonight a woman checking my membership card-caught on... said it was expired... i went to get my wallet. a different guy behind the counter was there now. he gave me a wristband, and i went into the gym to workout, without paying. oops.

now im sitting here trying to dig a sliver out of my palm. 2 knives and a pair of tweezers cant get it out.bummer.

hows your week going?

I guess my week is going OK. I asked my ex-GF out, and she said yes, so I have a GF again I'm going away for a few days to Virigina Beach, so I'm getting ready for that trip. So, my life is kinda busy around here It's snowing now (I HATE winter lol) so I have to get ready to plow

Let's see...got to visit the bloodsucking vampires at the hospital lab yesterday; got a shot today; accidentally took home an expensive piece of company equipment, have to explain myself Thursday; found out the house we fell in love with is already sold (after a year of looking for one); Bronco needs a fuel pump; husband needs a root canal; took tomorrow off to go to an outdoor market which will now be closed due to snow; and it's only Tuesday. Hey, you asked!

But on the flip side, tomorrow is St. Patricks Day (I'm Irish), what the lab found is minor; I'm still off tomorrow; I wasn't in any accidents today driving in the snow; and hubby got home early.

Ever need a reality check, go to the hospital and look around. You learn to count your blessings in a hurry. It's a good week.

well lets see monday went pretty good, i recieved a money order in the mail for $70 for a carb a guy bought from me, i went to work at me and my dads welding shop and that went pretty well besides the farm machinery just kept comeing. monday night i went to wal-mart and spent some of that 70 bucks i made on some stuff for my truck im rebuilding.

Tuesday it slowed down at work becuase it was snowing most of the day and the farmers decided maybe it wasnt qute time to get there machinery ready, so i piddled around on my truck motor most of the afternoon, and tonight ive been on FTE all night relaxing and playing soem games ont he computer, so far my weeks been ok.

My week rocked so far. May parents arrived Friday, left today(Tuesday). Hadnt seen them in two years. Was nice to catch up. Ofcourse, they left and it was back to normal. Within an hour dog got 4 stitches, and had to go back to work from my little mini vacation.

So far this week is going fairly well. Monday conisted of work which was uneventful. Monday night I went for coffee with a friend and planned to stay up late and get some stuff done that I was putting off. Got up Tuesday for my day off did household stuff then was planning lunch with a few friends who were back from college. We were just about to order when I got called into work, I spent three hours there and sold a truck and a car. I then came home and now i have an ear ache and am waiting for the third period to start in the Canucks game. So far its a decent week.

Rob, I deal with slivers all the time. Here's my recipe for splinters or other sorts:

chop or grind up 1 or two FRESH garlic cloves
meat tenderizier (no, not a meat cleaver)

throw this in a cup and warm it up till you can stand it. Open the wound where the sliver went in, spread the concotion on a bandage, and lay it across your splinter or sliver until the concotion cools (about 30 minutes)

A) garlic is a natural antibiotic
B) meat tenderizer DRAWS

Sunday nite- Woke up at 3:30 pm. Had to work, took a digger and bruised my knee on frozen stone. Can't bend my knee. My eyes also burn real bad(I work in a dusty place)
Mon.- Got done w/ work at 6:30 am. Knee still really sore, can't even get in the Bronco, and it hurts even more to get out of it. Took my GTP outta the garage for ease of drivin(alot lower to the ground). Called in sick to work, cuz I still could barely walk. Finally went to bed after bein up for almost 36 hrs.
Tues.- After a whoppin 3.5 hrs of sleep, got up at 6:45 am to bring g/f to skewl, the came home went back to bed. Scouted around for some small muddin spots here in town, not much to choose from. Watched a movie w/ the g/f.
Wed.- Yes, not here yet, but my day is gonna suck til about 4 pm anyways. I work in an above ground mine(so to speak...make lime for paper whiteness and water treatment) and I have a yearly training thing from 8 am to 4 pm. Gotta go to it if I wanna keep my job.
Thur., Fri., Sat., Sun., Mon., Tues., Wed.- I work...But then I get the following 7 days off and have the first car show of the season. YAY.
