Toolbox Must Haves......

I just got a 48" diamond plate utility chest for my truck. I'm going to put the usual stuff in there: jumper cables, jack, tire blocks, small set of tools, flashlight, extra fuses, tow strap, ect.
Any ideas as to what I should add?

Snow shovel, small portable air compressor, and a large spot light that will plug into the cigarette lighter.

I've never even seen snow?! I think I can leave that out (maybe one of those army shovel/pick ax combos), but the rest are good ideas. Keep them coming........

Oh, wait a minute- that's my list for a 1950's bomb shelter. Never mind............

A Leatherman is pretty handy. That could go in your glove box, though.

Put a cooler in there, stock it full of beer on ice.

You know, for a real extreme scenario, you could probably use a sleeping bag or two. Should go good with the beer.

Duct tape, bailing wire, leatherman, and the usual stuff (from above) and most of the time you can fix anything. Since I live where it snows I also keep a snow shovel (its handy for all sorts of stuff), tire chains and a sleeping bag just in case.
(thats my two cents)

J-B weld and duct tape will fix any thing. Spare hoses and belts too and maybe even some spare gaskets. Those along with the stuff mentioned above. Maybe even a small one man tent for you and your girl. Never know when you might get "stranded" in the middle of nowhere.
