Advice time. I'm looking at the page in Summitt and they have the universal fit, 9mm for Ford V-6 and V-8 but the application page doesn't list a 390. Issue?
Anybody ever hear of Firewires by Crane? 25 ohms of resistance per foot and 8.5mm. This sounds good.
The Crane Firewires are the same price as the Ford Racing Wires. northernautoparts.co I wouldn't recommend getting master engine rebuild kits from them because you get different brands of gaskets than what is posted but I think it'll be hard to mess up plug wires

25 ohms / ft. or 1K ohms / ft., you will not see any difference on how your engine runs. The only thing you might notice is noise on
your radio from the 25 ohms / ft. wires......
The problem I found is that most of the wires being described were not available with a straight plug boot..... I don't think a 90 degree boot would work too well....
I went with a msd universal set.... the plug end comes already crimped and they give you a crimping tool to do the cap end.... The set I got comes with HEI post style cap ends...
I put 8.5 Firewires on and the difference is amazing. No more missing at all. I was pushing 50,000 through 7mm and didn't think about what I was doing. The size of the wires is a big deal.
