Out of curiosity, has anyone bought those replacement cab corners for the '57 - '60? How big are they? Do they replace the entire corner, including the flat metal on the back that dips up and over the frame?
That part of my truck is all floppy-**** fiberglass! Both sides are like stiff paper towels!
Also, how well do they fit? Good or do you have to do alot of trimming?
Yes they are about 12"high and rap around from the door around to near wear the frame is. But doesn't go over the frame. You may want to try and keep as much of the original medel as possable so I would trim as needed.
Hmm....okay. Maybe I should order them to see what I need. I still have my parts truck and am thinking of cutting some of the metal from back there too.
One thing at a time, tho'. Right now, it's the suspension and steering that needs attention.
