First Service...

Welp, just got back from the dealership with the SD. Took her in for her first oil change and needed to get some other stuff looked at.
I was starting to get the intermitten WIF light coming on, my garage door holder door broke, and I had some brake fluid coming out of the resivoir.
Dealer started by cleaning, and replacing the resivoir lid and drained some of the fluid out. It was the cause of the leak, it was too full. Then he moved under the truck to check out the W/F seperator. They didn't even mess around or question it, they replaced the entire manifold and cleaned the fuel lines. Last but not least they drained and replaced the oil with Rotella T and changed the filter.
Service Writer comes out to me and says that everything on the truck will be covered by the warranty and tells me about the TSB that's out for the W/F Seperator. Also tells me that they didn't have the little console door in stock, so they ordered it for me and will call when it's in.

Anywho, total cost for everything today to me.....$0. Didn't have to pay a single cent, and didn't even have to argue about anything. They just did the work, ordered me my door, and gave me a receipt and keys. Have a nice day, and when the little survey from Ford comes, fill it out, bring it back to us, and we'll give you a free tank of fuel! w00t!!

Prolly the best and easiest service I've even been through at a dealership! A+ service! Oh, and I still have my 6 free oil changes left too, he said that this one was on the house!

Mine is going in tomorrow for its first service. I hope I have the same luck as you. My selling dealer offered a free oil change but I dont trust the service dept. I am taking it to a large dealer in Greenville they have a seperate truck shop that only works on super duty trucks.
I am having a few small tings checked out. I am getting the drone and we will see if the turbo mount is the culprit.I will let you know the results. I am curious if they will do a flash on it or not and if so what will happen.

I overheard the techs talking about my truck today before they gave it back to me. Trying to decide whether or not they should flash it. After they filled the oil, they started it up and let it warm up. Well, it did it's normal cycle, of normal idle, then high idle, then it went back down to low idle with pilot injection. They kinda got a befuddled look on their faces when it did it, seeing that it's an 03MY build. I guess all their 03''s have been flashed. Dunno, but they decided not to flash it and just gave me the keys back.

Thank god!! I would have been kinda upset if they gave me back a flashed truck that ran like crap....But they didn't, so She's still purrin' like a kitten!
