Non-starting '85 EFI

Just changed my fuel filter yesterday, now motor will not start. Spins over fine but will not hit. Checked fuel pumps, both are working. What would be causing the non-start problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am gong to check the pressure regulator next.

Thanks in advance.

Are you getting any fuel to the fuel rail? Or in other words are you getting pressure to the fuel rail? There should be a little stem like valve on the rail where you can check to see if you are getting pressure.

When you changed the fuel filter did you disconnect the inertia switch and forget to hook it back up? Maybe hit the reset switch?

Took the filter back off and turned ignition switch to on to see if pump was working correctly. I did not get any stream to the filter that I could see, so I guess the in-tank pump has gone out on me. I will have to drop the tank this weekend and change the sending unit pump combo, because the fuel gauge doesn't register either.

I aslo pulled the inertia switch to check it out. What is the correct volt and resistance readings for a good switch?
