It Won't Do Nuthin!
Hubby has a 91 Ranger , 4cyl, 4 spd. Has been a good truck. Had some problems with the catalytic converter, got plugged almost caught on fire, but had that fixed. After that we drove for a few days and then truck sat for a month or so. Charged battery (which is less than a year old) and drove. On the way home (50 mile trip from work) truck had two "surges" of power and died as we pulled into the drive. Now it won't turn over or anything. Battery has juice as lights work, etc.
Any ideas? Does anyone know if this year Ranger had the solenoid seperate from the starter?
I know the 96 F 150 I had was all one unit.
