Timing and or Idle causing emissions problem.

Thanks for the feedback, but did you read my problem first? I have set the timing properly more than once. The problem is that I am setting it with what is technically too high of an Idle. So, when I button it all down when I am done, the end result is still not good. I will investigate adjusting the curb idle before I blow any money on a new carb. And yes I do pine for the good ole days growing up in Mississippi when we routinely cut out those new fangles Cats so that we could run the cheap leaded gas.
