Angry Brake pull

Anyone having any brake pull problems? I have an intermittent pull to the right after the brakes have warmed up. Happens about 70% of the time during moderate to heavy brake application and can often pull the steering wheel 90 degrees or more. Very unsafe but the dealer is telling me that several of the 2004s are doing so it must be normal. I am filling out the "Dispute settlement" paper work now so they can take this thing back.

i have had brake problems and have read many other posts that say they have as well. i am thinking that having your sd pull one way or the other is just the way it is.
my truck has pulled to the rig left when it was loaded since i bought it. i took it to the dealer 4 times for the problem, i was told that yes it pulls but we cannot fix it and ford is working on a fix. i finaly called ford cust. service on this problem, they took my info and said we will let you know when there is a fix (of course i heard nothing) soon it came time that the front pads were worn out, so i replaced them with "performance friction carbon metalic" pads and had the rotors turned, then it pulled to right for a while, so i swaped the pads left to right and rechecked the install(those keys on the caliper slides) and it did the same thing for a while, but now it seems fine...so go figure, they might just pull sometimes.

Had same problem with 99 PSD It took some time to fix repalce both calipers, bleed lines and repalce fluid, repalce brake hose, repalce rotors. Truck still pulled to the right. Got feed up with it took the calipers and rotors off for a second time. Had supplier replace them again with in re-maufatuered calipers and it fix my problem. Hope this helps

Just took it to the REAL Ford Truck dealer in the area and they were eager to fix as they just fixed 1 last week with same problem. He said he got the answer off the Hot-line. Switch Left and Right rotors and pads. If the pull switches sides, turn the rotors and replace pads.

Well the problem is now to the left and worse. I have it back there, to me the solution would be to replace the rotor but we will see what happens. I am impressed with their urgency to get it fixed.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a bad brake line.

had a pull to the left into oncoming traffic problem on my 04 350PSD. At highway speed (over 45MPH) if I hit the brakes the truck swerved left. At 500 miles I took it back to the dealer and after $5000 of parts and labor without resolution, FMC bought it backand I'm now in a new truck. It is a safety issue and I'm paying real close attention to my new truck to make sure it doesn't happen again.

They ended up turning all the rotors on the vehicle as the srvc mgr thought the back was pulling as well. It is working fine now. I was afraid that they would be buying it back, I just hope it continues working good. I definately have more confidence in ford since this dealer knew what they were doing and worked hard to get it fixed.

Have a 2003 F-350 4x4. It pulled to the left on braking. The Ford dealer turned and swapped the front rotors only. It is 95% better.
