mini spool
I was just wondering if any one knew of a place that sells a mini spool for a dana 60 rear axle. I looked in Jegs and Summit and couldnt find anything. Anybody know of a place?

im almost positive there aint a mini spool for a 60...30 or 35 spline. your best bet is your welder or a full spool. i dont know if there is a 30 spline 60 full spool out yet or not...but itd be a waste of money

I have the factory limited slip how do i weld it, do u weld the spider gears or what?

its better to weld an open diff since oyu dont have the clutche sin the way. i always weld the spiders and side gears, then weld those to the carrier

The bad thing about welding is if that weld breaks your gonna seriously screw up every little part and piece in that axle. But if your a good welder shouldn't hafta worry about that.

You can get full spools for dana 60's, a full race version will run you around 180 bucks.

if you do it right and your welds break the teeth will be full of weld metal and still won't be able to spin...there will just be some play. I have both front and rear welded and i will never go back!

BTW....talk about an old post, this is before Ho got banned!
