god, it's like fixing the damn space shuttle! i found & replaced that ignition switch that was up on top of the steering column behind that metal plate. no good. never saw a red wire with a blue stripe anywhere inside the cabin. it may be hidden in the 100 wire circular bundle that runs through the firewall. there's not a red wire with blue stripe on the clutch switch. i give up. i'm running a wire from the cigarette lighter to the relay, this has been rediculous.

One of the wires coming out of the cluster plug that the nut holds onto the switch HAS to have hot out in start position,If you pull the wire connector off the switch and look at the base of the pins where it plugs, one should be marked ST 32 or STA. My book diagram only goes back to 93 so the wire could be a different color than R/LB.Hope this helps, dont give up,your SO close.

P.S. If you replaced the switch, just look at the old one.If you find it,splice in about 1in. or so as it comes out of the switch.Be sure to test with a meter for 12v in start possition before cutting the wire.

Look at the wire that is plugged into the start relay. That is the color scheme you need to trace.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, don't cut any wires if you can help it! Try to get it working without cutting wires.
