Starting the engine after just shutting it off is getting hard to do.
Cold start no problem, after sitting about 15 minutes no problem.
If I stop fill up with gas I have to massage the throttle to get it to restart, its become a pain. Any Ideas? Is there a hot start sensor that should be checked? Oh and the computer shows no codes recorded.
Might start with checking all your battery connections, solenoid and starter connections. And make sure your battery cables are in good shape. Had hot start problems with an old GTO years ago and new cables cured it. Also remember friends with chevy's and headers having problems with getting the starter itself too hot. If I am misunderstanding and your truck cranks fine but doesn't start, then pull your computer codes and see if anything comes up.
Let me guess turn key and hit hit die, turn key and hit hit die ...etc etc. My 89 does the same thing. With mine about 3 or 4 times will fire and run. If some one has solution please post. It Is very annoying.
I've got the opposite problem with cold start problems. Will crank and die, crank and die. I have to "feather" the pedal to get it going. Once it's warmed up she'll run like a burnt dog.
