camshaft question

well this is the question. whenever i build an engine i personally like to use either a comp cam extreme energy 4x4 camshaft or a comp cam magnum cam due to the amount of torque and hp i have been able to get out of these cam shafts. now i know alot of people that build mud trucks and such that use what is called an RV cam. iam not too familiar with these cams. was just hopeing that someone could enlighten me on the pro's and con's as well as companys that make the RV cam. any info is appreciated......thanks in advance

RV cam is the same as a comp 4x4 cam. Same power band as stock, just more torque.

the torque/rv cams offer more toruqe for pulling and they claim offer better economy. These cams seem to have a few more degrees of duration but more lift then that of stock cams.
